... Hello! What to write about that is the question?
Well, I started college and I am studying Music, Media, Performing Arts and History. However I have to stay for three years so I have to pick another subject to study, if anyone knows of some one year courses that would be appreciated. All the subjects are really good (music especially).
I've got myself a job at a shop. How did I manage that without bursting into song at the interview I don't know. (I am writing like its a note to future self post haha) I cant wait to start it, and also I smashed my audition for the Polar Express recently with only two days to prepare, I call that an achievement. I really cant wait for that. I have to entertain people on a moving train and its licensed by Warner Brothers so that's one for the show reel.
Oh and I went to Edinburgh and had a massive shopping spree for clothes for college. I may have to blog about that because this post is not going well.
Well ok heres the conclusion. If this is a post to future self post then future Bethany better come up with better blog post ideas, and be organised for college. Oh and I've been writing a script for some time now about my time when I was living with my Grand Parents. It's a comedy or so my family thinks, my nana hates it as I am just taking the mick out of her but I was wondering what I should do with this script.. Help! If any of you have suggestions of what to post next please suggest them as I am running out of awesome things to blog about in my life. But until then... See ya later folks xx
P.S. I am under the impression that my cat has gone crazy as she is currently running riot in the house. Bye.

Ellen Style
Lets face it! Ellen DeGeneres IS a STYLE ICON. I have become obsessed with her and her show recently, like really I've been watching it non stop. And did you know, Ellen had a sitcom in the 90s. Yeah I know amazing. I've been loving that also it is utterly amazing. I recommend.
Anyway back to the post.
I love Ellen's style and I have been stealing some (if not many) of her outfits and putting my own 'Bethany' twist on them.
So below I have put together an outfit with an alternative jacket that I believe is VERY Ellen. I may do another one of these types of style steal posts is ya'll like it.
P.S. call me obsessed but I even got my hair cut like Ellen. I mean I know my hair is short and it has been for a long time but this is like ultimate short and I love it.
Thank you for reading and let me know if you love Ellen too.

#DairyFree
Hello guys,
I have recently gone dairy free as it clears up your skin and is just a healthier lifestyle. However my energy levels are way low so that's just one thing to consider.
So today I thought I could tell you about my new #DairyFree lifestyle (I'm not calling it a diet) and what I've discovered.
1. Going Diary Free makes you less bloated and clears up your skin so if you have redness like me this definitely helps
2. However you feel less energetic as you have a lack of potassium I have been eating a lot of bananas lately to make up for that. Mixing them up with coconut milk is like the sweetest thing ever.
3. All your favourite sweet things like cakes and brownies. You don't need to miss them. There are dairy free alternatives that taste the same in the Free From aisles and you can make your own by swapping butter for a dairy free alternative like Flora Freedom.
This is what I made by following a shortbread recipe but by swapping the butter. Let me know if any of you are dairy free and let me know of any recipes, especially Ice Cream. (I know using frozen bananas is a good substitute) and thank you for reading xx

A Quick Update!
Hello, it's been a while but a lot has happened.
The first thing I would like to mention is my holiday to Spain. It's been 10 years since I've been abroad and absolutely loved the heat (and the good looking Spanish men). It was nice that I went all inclusive as I could eat and drink as much as I liked. Isn't that paradise and of course I sat and did nothing for the whole week but to be honest. I deserved after the exam season.
The next thing on my agenda was Work Experience. Literally as soon as I stepped off the plane I had a day to unpack then I was at work the next day. I was working for a week at Shoe Zone and I absolutely loved it. I gained independence developed my organisational skills and made some great new friends. I definitely recommend doing work experience if you have the chance as you learn so much and have fun at the same time.
I am now back in the game in the drama department as I've landed the role of Snow White and the Prince (I know what a challenge) but I think I will put a sassy twist on both of the characters to bring them to the modern day. Photos will come soon.
But the biggest announcement is... Drum roll please. PROM!!!! It was amazing. I went along in a 1920s classic car that my beautiful friend chose, you may know her as +That Weird Girl Ellie. We went together and everyone looked stunning even the boys scrubbed up well. No trainers in sight it was heaven. I even gained an award for most likely to be famous and I danced the whole night long. I went for the 50s look with a lace dress and a red lip I personally liked it especially my hair. My hairdresser is what I call a hair artiste and knows how to rock short hair just like me. I just wish Benedict Cumberbatch came as my date. I'll put some pictures below.
Oh and I almost forgot. I am watching Glee at the moment and absolutely love it. I didn't like it that much when it first aired but I wondered why I never was into it as its music and performing. It's just me. And by the way, Kurt is definitely my favourite character alongside Santana and Kurt and Blaine are my OTP. They are super cute I'll insert a picture below.
Oh and Zootopia is my new favourite film. Thank you for reading! Xx

Omigod Omigod You Guys!
Hi, on saturday I went to my local theatre to see an amateur perfomance of Legally Blonde The Musical and can I say, it was exactly like the London production.
The songs were really funny and uplifting I especially liked 'There! Right! There!' which is about the legal team trying to figure out if the witness is gay or european which was very relevant to the case. It actually turned out that he was both and the lyrics and dance rountines accompnied this funny scene very well.
My favourite character was of course the UPS Delivery guy called Kyle who strutted onto the stage making a great impression with the ladies (and men) as you could imagine. He acted as the love interest for Paulette the hair dresser who helped Elle along the way through Law School. This is where the song 'Bend & Snap' came in which again was extremelly funny and uplifting. Ive been singing it ever since.
The love story between Elle and Emett was the cutest thing I have ever seen, their songs together are just so darn cute.
But overall the musical had a uplifting story of being true to yourself which is apparent in most musicals to be honest but this one was different. I highly reccomend it and may have to see it in the West End.

In The Line Of Duty
Don't worry, this post isn't that dramatic as the title may suggest but today the subject matter is the TV show, Line Of Duty.
The series 3 finale just aired on Thursday and it is known that a series 4 is on the way. Now, if you haven't seen the finale then do not read on, major spoiler alerts ahead.
Disclaimer I am writing this post as watching the Line Of Duty finale for the 4th time.
Ok now that's out of the way let me just say, OMG what an ending. I haven't seen series 1 but I have seen 2 and 3 the two series' link together beautifully. Gotta say, well written script and an amazing cast (some of whom or should I say many of whom are from 'Ashes To Ashes' which I adore)
We found out that the corrupt officer DI Cottan shot officer Lindsay Denton due ro her finding out of his corrupt conduct and her intent of exposing him. This was shown in episode 5 and we found out that Cottan had framed DS Arnott by shooting Lindsay in his car and planting evidence. In this weeks finale we saw him get locked up for suspicion of being the corrupt officer known as 'The Caddy'. By the end we saw AC-12 question Cottan and him making a rapid escape through an open shooting in the office. In the end DI Cottan took a bullet for his crush DC Kate Flemming who was chasing after Cottan and took his dying declaration.
After all this excitement i have one question... Who was it in the car that attempted to shoot DC Flemming?
And may I just say as a side note, Thank You BBC for your amazing dramas including; Line Of Duty, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Ashes To Ashes and Life On Mars. I Love Them All.
Let me know if this was all random crap to you or if you like me love Line Of Duty and have become a little obsessed. Comment any dying questions you had on the finale and if you loved the series as much as I did.
(P.S. My favourite character was DI Cottan AKA The Caddy, He took on a brilliant role and i knd of felt sorry for him by the end, he was amazing)

Ashes To Ashes
Hey Guys, sorry I put my hands up I have not posted in ages but I've been watching 'Life On Mars' and 'Ashes To Ashes' lately and it came to me... Why not do a blog post about it?
Ashes To Ashes is a British TV show from 2008 that sees Alex, a young DI getting shot in 2008 and waking up in 1981. Everyone knows I love anything 80s so I instantly fell in love with this show but me being the TV rebel I am, I didn't watch 'Life On Mars' the first instalment of the series first but just to clarify I have seen them both now.
You may have realised that they are both named after David Bowie songs which is awesome as I love his songs and the stories feature many of his music and other songs of the time.
The stories are really good and a bit mind boggling if I'm honest but with the addition of lovable characters and lots of comedy and romance what's not to like. There is a new crime to solve with each episode and the overall story of the truth about DCI Gene Hunt, Alex's parents and the world itself. Its hard to explain but it is one of the most amazing shows of all time in my opinion and I don't know many people who like it or have even seen it so I am calling all Ashes fans as I cant be the only one.
Oh before I go I just want to mention that Chris and Shaz are the cutest couple ever and something not Ashes To Ashes related, I am lucky enough to have my prom dress made specially for me so I might blog about that if I run out of ideas.
Thanks for reading guys. Bye! Xx
P.S. I aint good at explaining TV shows so I've left some video links below
