Short Haired Girl Problems 2

Short Haired Girl Problems 2
Here is the second part of my 'Short Haired Girl Problems' series. Give me a wink if you think this is a good idea (a wink. Bethany what are you even doing)
Anyway another problem with having short hair is that you can't do all the fish tail braids and the classy up-do's. Put it this way I've only found two hairstyles and they are the one pictured right and a skull plait. So if any of my female readers out there have short hair and know of any cool hairstyles please let me know in the comments.

Anyway I hope you have had a good day and keep smiling.

(BTW sorry for the creepy image of me I have presented you with, yeah have a good day)

Short Haired Girl Prolems!

I couldn't think of anything else and seeing's though I moan about stuff like this a lot then I thought why not share a bit of my pain with you) Don't get me wrong I love having short hair... (Sometimes). But other times like when I wake up looking like Jedward it's then, when I see the problems. Anyway I hope you enjoy this little mini series and some of you out there (hopefully its not just me) will relate to this. Thanks Chums Hope you have a good day and keeeeepp Smiling!

Question (tell me what you think about me!). Which celebrity do you think suits the pixie cut the best?

YouTube!

YouTube is amazing. Let’s just get it out there. Plain and simple everyone has used YouTube at least, if not more than once in their lives. For a teenager like me watching someone do, I don’t know a hair braid tutorial (like I’m gunna be needing that. My hair is less than an inch long) or maybe you just wanna see them playing your favourite game. These are people to whom we can relate to and best of all... you don’t have to pay TV licence for it. No but on a more serious note these people were once ordinary people like you or I, going to school. Living a normal ish life (I was so tempted to put ‘Livin la vida loca’ but then I thought better not. They weren’t born into fame they worked for it by making people smile. And the best thing about it is that we can all get involved in the Q&As or just by sending in challenges. But what I’m trying to say is that they are always up for a laugh and they are just good role models. I mean Zoella started off with a blog and now she’s got her own makeup line and a book and probably many more. What a success! Same for Tanya Burr with a makeup line (with lovely names for the products by the way) and a book. Dan & Phil have got their own merchandise and also have a radio show. Same as Jim Chapman, Tyler Oakley and probably many more. There are too much to list and I’m sure you’ll agree. Anyway to round today’s post off I’m just going to ask a very hard question... Who (pause for dramatic effect) is your favourite YouTuber? (Dun Dun Dun)
Anyway that’s it for today but remember to keep smiling.
(Side note if the people that I mentioned read this I would be ecstatic, I mean I doubt it but you know, as Jim Chapman’s posters say: ‘Dream Big’)
(Side note 2. I’m starting a new series called ‘JustOldCuriousMe: Questions That Need Answering’ so if you’ve got any questions that you desperately want answering let me know either by commenting on this post or on my Facebook page or tweet me with @JustOldCurious) Thanks Chums x Have a good day!

Spring Fashion Xx

This years spring fashion seems very simple with cute natural colours. Like every year, floral designs  are always incorporated into the outfit. Like the two piece set form Boohoo.

My favourite piece is the playsuit from 'next'. I love the colour and the design at the chest. Playsuits seem to be making a comeback (however awkward they are to get off, c'mon we've all been there) and this particular piece is a very good example of a everyday, casual look.

Hopefully (I use the word 'hopefully' with meaning. I live in England here guys. The weather is always unpredictable) anyway hopefully the weather will be getting hotter so you will be rummaging through your draws to find your shorts again. The shorts pictured above from 'next' are a simple yet sophisticated design and the nude colour will make sure that these shorts can be paired with any top.

Anyhow that's it for today chums, hope you have a good day and... Keep smiling!! Xx

Style Steal; Red Carpet Edition! Couples Special!

Hello peeps, here is the last of my 'Style Steal; Red Carpet Edition' series. (If you want me to do anymore feel free to let me know)

So I decided that the series should go out with a bang! I believe that Mr Benedict Cumberbatch and Mrs Sophie Hunter looked gorgeous at the BAFTAs earlier this year. The black and white theme they went for just looks so classic and elegant. Anyway lets get into this.

I don't know if I have a male audience but I just went and done a male style steal anyway. As Prom Season is coming up the best place to get your suits from lads is ... (Drum Role Please)... Asda.
Yep that's rights, the good old Asda will get you through. From ties to shoes. Asda has got it all.
However if you want to dress up your suit you can splash out on some lovely cufflinks from Hugo Boss. (Best trick in the book if you want everyone to think that you spent a tonne on your suit. No one has to know)

And as for the ladies, the closest I could get to Sophie's dress was the one pictured above from French Connection. And you cant see what shoes Sophie is wearing but I believe these lovely Chelsea boots from H&M will go beautifully with the dress.

And that's it for today folks. Hope you have a good day and keep smiling! xx

Life On Stage

Hi guys. And don’t worry this wont take long, so grab a cuppa tea put your feet up and get comfy while I tell you the life of a performer.
First of all I would like to say the performing is great but you can get a little tired so I would take a good cuppa backstage to keep me going the whole night however that can get cold quickly and that is one of my deadly sins. You’ve got to agree cold tea is dreadful... but I’ll make the exception for liptons peach ice tea. Mmm! So I would suggest taking your favourite cold beverage as back up
One of the most important things about performing is time. You need to get things ready in time so you aren’t rushing around. I would personally like to get my ‘mic’ on first and then I can go on to costume and makeup. But other people say I should get makeup then costume then mic. Whatever floats your boat? One thing I do know is definitely put your wig on last. I learnt that the hard way.

Hopefully this post wasn’t too messy but that it helped at least one of you in some way.
Thanks for reading chums
Love Bethany xx

Broadchurch

Hey chums, today I decided to do a bit of a chatty post and to mainly talk about my newly found discovery of Broadchurch. I know, I know I'm a bit late to the party (#StoryOfMyLife) but I mean c'mon. That show is freaking amazing. I'm honestly hooked! But the problem with these types of shows are that I get too deep into it and the theories start speculating around my brain. (#GetAGrip) But anyway I hope you had a good day and keep smiling! Xx

{side note: What on earth are you on about Bethany? And what's with the hashtags. (#TryingToBeDownWithIt)
