Backstage Access!

Hi,chums sorry I haven't been posting on here a lot recently but I have been on stage. And today I intend to tell you all about the happenings of the four shows that i performed in recently. You have (kind of) got a VIP backstage pass to the 'Night At The West End Musicals' performance. Enjoy!

First of all I want to mention that backstage was extremely hot and even with 8 fans I was still boiling in my own sweat. However it didn't help that I was in a huge dress with a blonde wig (I was playing Glinda from Wicked so you may see my made up word 'Glindafied' quite often)

I had four costume changes including an orphan from Annie and a man from Bugsy Malone. Having these costume changes meant that I had little time to get changed between each one not to mention three cheek mic changes. However most of these cheek mics failed me throughout the show. Because of having these costume changes I assigned myself a 'special' dressing room (AKA hospital screen) that was close to the stage as the real dressing rooms were like cellars. You have to go down a couple of flights of stairs to a small room filled with freezers and barrels of drinks.

Like I mentioned earlier I had to be Glindafied and this included a huge dress. I was not (repeat not) going to test the dress with stairs. Me and stairs are't friends as it is.

The props table is my favorite part of being on stage as things are set up neatly (well neat enough) and you can mess around with other peoples props. Yay!

Thank you for reading and I may come up with some better ideas for blog posts later.

Quirky Places To Visit In London!

Hi, I have been to London a few times now and it is no doubt that I am in love with the place. The mixture of cultures and the different eras on every corner. And there are always new places to explore. So today I decided to display a map of London with 10 hotspots of places. Some of these I have been to and some I want to go to some day.
so lets get into this!

1. Harrods
Now this is a place I have been to and it was brilliant. The decoration was immaculate the only thing was the only thing I could afford was a carrier bag.

2. Pauls Bakery
This I've heard is absolutely amazing but I couldn't really tell for myself. However I may give it a whirl when I go to London this year.

3. Theatre Royal Drury Lane
Ah now I have been here and I remember it well. If any of you plan to go to London you cant go without seeing a show and I saw Shrek The Musical here. It was amazing (you may notice that I am running out of positive adjectives). And I don't know if this was a coincidence but Drury Lane is where the 'Muffin Man' lived (why past tense) and he is mentioned in the Shrek films.

4. The Sherlock Holmes Museum
I have not been here but I believe if you are a big Sherlock fan (like me) then this is a must see on your trip around the capital.

5. Madame Tusauds
I have been to the Madame Tusauds in London and Blackpool and they are both extraordinary. A great opportunity for pictures believe me. And a little birdie told me that a Benedict Cumerbatch wax work has been made so this is my chance to maybe go again.

6. The Open Air Theatre in Regents Park
I have yet to go here but it looks awesome and here is the proof.

7. Oxford Street
If any of you are looking for some retail therapy but don't have a 'Kardashian' budget then this is the place to go. I have not been here but I am to go there this year. I hear the Topshop is amazing. Keep this between you and me but I think a lot of my money may (or may not) be spent there.

8. The National Art Gallery
I've been outside of this place but not actually in it (I know sad right). I am always interested in history and artwork so this would be a great place for me to go however, none of my family like this sort of stuff so it looks like I will not be going there.

9. Aldwych
There is a ghost station in Aldwych which sounds very interesting but spooky. I know in the Sherlock episode: The Empty Hearse, Sherlock went in the underground station to find a huge bomb implanted in the entire car. It would be pretty awesome if I could rein act that scene.

10.Covent Garden
This is a gorgeous little quirky place full of specialist shops and markets. I have not been here but I have been told that it is on the list to see on our next London trip.

Thank you for reading and helping me along my holiday planning. Have a good day and just a side note I may not be posting as much because I am performing next week. Thank you. Xx

Top 10 TV Shows I Love

Hello there, me again. I've been thinking recently of new and innovating blog posts that I can come with and well, I've been failing. All my ideas have gone walk abouts and I can't find them anywhere (same can be said for my contact lenses) however I came up with the idea of sharing my favourite TV shows with you so lets get into it because I've got an audition soon!

In no particular order!

1. Doctor Who
I just love the exciting storylines and unpredictable plot twists of this show. There is always something new to find out every week and I have to say Peter Capaldi is doing well as the new doctor and may swiftly become my favourite. I am notoriously known for being a stereotypical whovian in my family, always taking the stories too far and coming up with new theories. Unfortunately I have not been to a convention so that may have to be a new addition to my bucket list.

2. Sherlock
It's obvious to everyone that known me that I am in love with Benedict Cumberbatch and I have to say he does play Sherlock Holmes to a T. Sherlock is written by the same people as Doctor Who so its obviously going to be complicated and witty. I love the comedic aspect to this show and believe Benedict pulls it off brilliantly. I am always on the edge of my seat with this show wondering who killed who and what Moriarty will do next but the ultimate question on my mind is... Will Sherlock and Molly ever get together.

3. Silent Witness
Now this show is a bit gruesome but awesome none the less. You arealways on the edge of your seat and you end up having to kick yourself when you find out who the killer is at the end. The stories are always immaculately planned and complicated to the max but I kinda like a challenge.

4. Inspector George Gently
This is yet another crime drama and you will see as we go on that I am quite mad on crime dramas. This is set in the 60s at the moment but every series comes a different decade. The story lines aren't as complicated but it has a comedy aspect that is just brilliant. Don't get me wrong the storylines are good just not as hard to figure out.

5. The Big Bang Theory
I am obsessed with this show lately and pretty much watch it none stop. The acting is amazing the jokes crack me up every time. So much so I got the box set and I am hiking through series to series. The only thing is that I have only got to series 7 and I cant find series 8 in the shops. However I love this show and like to see Sheldon and Amy's relationship grow. I think the main reason why I like this show is because I can compare it to my life and my friends. I do feel sorry for Raj though.

 6.The Goldbergs
Wow! This show is not only so funny but it is so cute too. My mam loves this as she grew up in the 80s and can relate to it strongly. I love how it shows you the real home videos at the end and dedicates each episode to real event or person in Adams life. It is brilliant.

7. The Syndicate
Wow another crime drama. This is about a group of people who work in a large manor house and they put the lottery on and win 14 million pounds between them. However a young girl has been recorded as missing and the suspects are the people within the group. The acting is amazing and the story always has me on my feet.

8. Broadchurch
This amazing show
definitely deserved a place on this list. It is brilliant in every way and had me guessing with each episode. don't get me wrong I was late to the party and I still haven't seen series 2 (so no spoilers please) but I really enjoyed series 1 and really want to read the book. All the acting was brilliant and each character had their own story which I loved. The plot is complicated but like I said I love a challenge.

9. The Code Of A Killer
This was a one off show on ITV documenting the real events of DNA analysis. John Simm is one of my favourite actors and he definitely did well in this show. It's one of them shows you have to watch every week.

10. Top Gear
This is relatively new obsession and a weird one at that. I just love how random it is and the presenters really do make the show. It's basically a show about cars but at least I can be in the conversation when the lads are going on about it.
Thank you for reading and if you have any TV recommendations just leave them in the comments. Have a good day! X

Jenna Vs Clara

Hello, me again. Today I decided to showcase some of my favourite outfits from one of my style icons. Jenna Coleman. Most people will know Jenna from doctor who as she plays the most up to date companion Clara. She has been one of my favourite companions because of her complicated story line and cute clothing. So therefore I decided to do a couple of style steels from herself as Jenna and her Doctor Who character Clara.

I noticed that both Clara and Jenna are quite similar in their outfit choices and I always like Jenna's bespoke style with a classic vintage twist.

I have found some of the original pieces from the show and made a great discovery that Jenna and. Clara are both big Topshop fans.

Thank you for reading and enjoy!
(By the way, I am really happy because I cooked tea today and my sister loved it) ...... bye!

HOBBS London!

Hello, when I was out shopping last week I saw this lovely collection if modern vintage clothing from a designer brand called Hobbs London. This brand is renowned for it's dresses and specific vintage, simple style within their clothing. I have also heard that Princess Kate loves this brand too. So because of the reasons above I decided to share some of my favourites with you... Hope you like it and thank you again, for reading. X

A Week In My Shoes!

Hello, I haven't posted in a while and I apologise, I have no excuse. However last week I took a million photos (no lie) so decided to put some of them in a blog post.

I'll start at the very beginning (a very good place to start). Yes I shall start weirdly with Saturday where I went to my very first festival. The atmosphere was great but the acts were rubbish.

Monday. I cant remember what I did on Monday so we shall proceed to Tuesday.

On Tuesday I went to the beach and moaned because I am not one for going in the sea and I fancied chicken... Not the traditional fish and chips. However the day did look up when me and my mam went to the cinema to watch Pitch Perfect 2, which I did a review on last week.

Wednesday, I went to Whitworth Hall and felt very posh as I was surrounded by deer's and my mam decided to take over the role of photographer and had a mini photo-shoot involving moi!

Thursday was a girly day for me and mam so we took the opportunity to have afternoon tea. AKA: posh sandwiches and stuffing your face with a variety of cakes.

Friday, I went to Ellie's house AKA That Weird Girl Ellie after I took my little sister to tumble tots and failed on all the gymnastics equipment. We took a trip down town. Just an excuse to buy something. Then I stayed for Britain's Got Talent. (Because it's tradition)

Saturday I went dancing with my sister Natalie and watched The Amazing Spiderman where I fell in love with Andrew Garfield and Spiderman in general. (Sorry Toby McGuire)

Sunday I went to a hot air balloon festival. Now if you read my 'Bucket List Dilemma' post you will know that it is one of my dreams to fly in a hot air balloon. However..... This so called 'Hot Air Balloon FESTIVAL' had no balloons in sight so instead I lightened the mood with a High School Musical sing-a-long and a dance in the park.
